1. Eligibility:
NSS is open to all UG and PG students of Kongu Engineering College willing to serve society voluntarily.
2. Duration:
The normal duration of NSS membership is two years.
3. Attendance:
Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory for all NSS activities.
4. Discipline:
Volunteers must follow college rules and maintain discipline during all NSS activities.
5. Conduct:
Volunteers must behave respectfully with the public, staff, and fellow volunteers.
6. Service Requirement:
Active participation in social service, community development, and awareness programs is mandatory.
7. Leave:
Prior permission must be obtained for absence from any NSS activity.
8. Prohibition:
Alcohol, tobacco, and prohibited substances are strictly banned during NSS programs.
10. Social Media:
Unauthorized or misleading posts related to NSS are not allowed.
11. Certification:
Certificates are issued only after successful completion of required service hours.
12. Authority:
Decisions made by the Programme Officer are final.
